John passed peacefully on April 11th, 2021 with his daughter Heather by his side.
Born in Kansas City, MO to Marie (Fantinel) and John F. Hunholz. John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty Hunholz (Busselle), and their daughter Molly Hunholz.
John is survived by his son William Hunholz, daughter Heather Briggs-Hunholz, Daughter-in-Law K.C. Briggs, and his grandson Oliver Briggs-Hunholz who was the apple of his Papa's eye.
John graduated from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1958. Soon after graduating he relocated to Seattle where he began his medical practice in the town of Clearview, Washington. There he practiced medicine for over 40 years at Clearview Medical Center which he owned and managed alongside his wife Betty.
John was a vintage car enthusiast and was active in the local vintage race community. He was often to be found in his garage working on one of the vehicles in his collection, spending time at the races, or on the phone with fellow vintage car enthusiasts sharing stories and information related to vintage cars and racing.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pacific Northwest Historic Vintage Racing Charities to support the Children's Hospital Uncompensated Care Fund.
