DOROTHYS FUNERAL HOME
Dr. Anna L. Forbes, daughter of the late Deacon David and Mother Hermina Brown Forbes of the Rosemont Subdivision, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, surrounded by her sisters and caregiver.
Dr. Forbes retired from Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY as Clinical director of the Department of Child Psychology. In 2018, she moved back to Charleston and continued her fellowship at the Greater Refuge Temple where Apostle Walter Lee Jackson is the pastor.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her siblings, David Carl Forbes (Edrica), Patricia Forbes Johnson (Franklin), Priscilla F. Stepter (Moses), and Gerald Forbes; an uncle, Reverend William Brown (Diane). The family will receive friends beginning November 11 at 45 Sycamore Ave. Building 5-Condo 517 from 2:00 PM-7:00 PM.
