Dr. Alonzo H. Myers Jr.

Dr. Alonzo (Lonnie) H. Myers Jr., 89, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothea S. Myers; his parents, Dr. Alonzo H. Myers Sr. and Eleanor Gurney Myers; and his sister, Eleanor M. Cole. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Keith and Susan Myers of Roanoke, VA, Kim and Ray Slapikas of Coral Springs, FL, Debbie and Keff Beasley of Roanoke, VA, and Margot Myers of Pittsburgh, PA; as well as grandchildren and other family and friends.

Lonnie Myers was born and raised in Charlotte, NC where his father was the first orthopaedic surgeon in the area. Lonnie was an orthopaedic surgeon in Roanoke, VA for over 40 years. Visitation and memorial details can be found at www.Oakeys.com.
