The family of Douglas Ferguson will celebrate his life of 64 years at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Chapel. On August 6, 1957, Douglas Ray was born to Marvin "Ray" and Kathleen Ferguson in Plainview, TX. He married Amber Reynolds on May 28, 1989, at his father's home in Lubbock, Texas. He loved muscle cars, all things sports (especially his Red Raiders), hunting and fishing, and traveling to historical sites. During his four decades as one of the top flooring contractors in the US, he installed flooring in malls and large department stores from the East Coast to the West in more than half of the states.
Survivors include his children, Stephanie (Michael) Kruk and David Ferguson, grandchildren, Nathaniel, Eleanor, Gavin, and Lilah Kruk; siblings, Greg (Gerene) Ferguson, Danny (Kim) Ferguson, and Brad (Kathy) Ferguson.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Amber Ferguson; parents, Marvin "Ray" and Kathleen Ferguson.
