Dorothy "Dot" Mae Seneca Williams passed away peacefully at her residence in Plaquemine, on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 92. She was a native of Bayou Chene, and a longtime resident of Plaquemine. Dorothy was a devoted homemaker who committed her life in taking care of her husband and children. She lived for her family and most prized possessions, her grandchildren and her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held at The First Baptist Church of Plaquemine on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with services conducted by Pastor Keith Horton and family immediately following. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Park. Dot is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy (Lenes Gomez), Jamie (Ardie Persick), Karen (Joey Justice); and one son and daughter-in-law, Perry (Mary Beth Williams); nine grandchildren, Deidre Kirkland (Kevin), Clint Persick (Danyale), Kiley Persick (Stephanie), Caleb Persick (Heather), Jessica Williams, Kristen (Keith Bunger), Darrin Goodwin (Wendy), Kristie Miller, and Elisabeth Justice; ten great-grandchildren, Jordan Guillot, Joseph Kirkland, Ashton and Meghan Persick, Win and Kyndal Goodwin, Maddox, Brooks, and Anna Miller, Presley and Angelina Stafford, Bennett and Anderson Bunger, two great-great-grandchildren, Ainsley and Landon; two sisters, Mary Jane Seneca LeJeune and Jenny Seneca Andre; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Dot was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James L. Williams; parents, Carbet and Alberta Diamond Seneca; five siblings, Mildred, Gertrude, Charles Seneca, Vivian Seneca Olano, and Melvin Seneca; and son-in-law, Joe Goodwin. Pallbearers will be Perry Williams, Lenes Gomez, Ardie Persick, Joey Justice, Kevin Kirkland, Joseph Kirkland, Clint Persick, Kiley Persick, Darrin Goodwin, Win Goodwin, Brock Bourg, and Conrad Tempanaro.
