Dorothy Marie Ott

Dorothy Marie Ott age 92 a resident of Opelika, AL died July 3, 2023 at Bethany House in Auburn, AL. She was born October 14, 1930 in Nicholsville, AL to Willie Daffin and Katie Lou Sheffield. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Ladell Ott; daughter, Patricia Floyd; four brothers, Bill Sheffield, W.D. Sheffield, Wayne Sheffield, and Artis Sheffield; two sisters, Mary Jordan and Eula Neal; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Okey Ott, Jr.; and grandson, Mitch Floyd.

Funeral services were held at Midway Baptist Church on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11:00 am with David Floyd and Rev. Don Stephens officiating.
