Dorothy E. Devlin, 84, of Mount Pleasant Road, formerly of East Taunton, died Monday, April 11, 2022 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. Devlin, Jr.
Born in Medfield, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Morgan) Brickley, she had lived most of her life in East Taunton, also residing in Cumberland, before moving to Harrisville, RI three years ago.
Mrs. Devlin was a graduate of Medfield High School and worked as a teller for the Mansfield Co-Operative Bank.
Mrs. Devlin enjoyed watching soap operas, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Following her husband's death, she learned to fly. She attended the Pink Floyd concert held in Berlin when the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.
She is survived by one daughter, Beth A. Arnold of Woonsocket, RI; three sons, Richard F. Devlin III of Colorado, Gregory A. Devlin, and his wife Robin, of Harrisville, RI and Kenneth E. Devlin of East Taunton; one brother, Robert Brickley of Georgia; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Gerald Brickley and Geraldine Dzindolt.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, 175 Staples Street, East Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited.
