Dorothy Ann Ayoob, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 1st. Dorothy was brought up in Dunbarton by her parents, Maurice and Erma Hodgman. She was a longtime resident of Concord, where she raised her family, before returning to Dunbarton in her golden years.
Dorothy had a love for the outdoors and felt most spiritual and happy when out in nature. She loved going for walks in the woods, visiting lakes, and picking wild blueberries. She loved her family deeply and fiercely, and her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Maurice, and her mother, Erma.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cathbin Kondo and Justine Parmelee; her grandchildren, Eisenhower and Edison Kondo, and Robin and Benjamin Parmelee; her sisters Gloria Howard, Barbara Bedard, and Belinda Laurie; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Services will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, to whom her family will be forever grateful for their compassion and care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bennett Funeral Home of Concord NH.
