Dorothea Amelia (Klepps) Morgan, 91 of Parrish, FL, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, was called to her eternal rest with her Lord on January 17, 2021. A former Terryville resident she was born August 29, 1929 in Terryville to the late Leonard H. and Edith (Miller) Klepps. She was the widow of Leonard Clark Morgan, to whom she was married for 57 years. A graduate of Terryville High School, she was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Parrish, FL and former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Terryville where she was famous for her jello salads, active member as a Sunday School teacher, member of the choir, Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and Valparaiso Guild. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the State of Connecticut. She is survived by her daughters Doreen (Jim) Wiese of Pawcatuck, CT and Holly Daveluy (Lee Snow) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, grandchildren Brendan (Megan) Daveluy, Brittany Daveluy (Ryan Gordon), Hannah and Mariah Wiese, great grandchildren Hayden Daveluy and Greyson Gordon, sister Shirley Henderson, four nieces, several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law Kenneth A. Daveluy, Jr., grandson Nathaniel Morgan Wiese, great-grandson Cohen Kenneth Daveluy and sister Leona Pratt. Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 8 Maple Street, Terryville on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00am followed by burial in Forestville Cemetery. Calling hours will take place Thursday evening from 5-7pm at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Face masks and social distancing will be observed.
