Donna Jeanne LaValley, of Manchester, NH passed away on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, at Boston Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Born in Boston, MA on November 4th, 1963, Donna was one of six children born to the late Ross LaValley Sr and Donna (Derzanski) LaValley. She graduated from Merrimack High School. After that she attended Mount Washington College and received her associate's degree in Psychology and Paralegal studies. She then pursued Criminal Justice studies at Hesser College. Most recently, Donna worked for McDonald & Kanyuk, PLLC in Concord as a legal secretary. Prior to that, Donna also worked with property management, was a human resource administrator and departments/resource manager. For many years, she also worked as a Paralegal, initially for Emile Bussiere and later worked independently with Dan Kalinski. She was well respected for her strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Donna could do anything she put her mind to. When she wasn't working, Donna enjoyed spending time at the beach, as well as hiking, kayaking on the lakes and rivers, and cooking. She loved spending time with, and doting on her family and her beloved dog, Baxter. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Donna was a notorious, undefeated, and passionate scrabble player. Her creativity and intelligence inspired those who knew her. She was pre-deceased by her father Ross LaValley Sr. on April 13th, 2008, and her brother, Richard LaValley on November 19th, 1987. Surviving family members include her daughter, Hannah Krafton; her mother, Donna LaValley; four siblings, Ross LaValley Jr and his wife Fran; Rosheen LaValley; Dean LaValley and his wife Anne; Darren LaValley and his wife Kelli; nephew, Andrew LaValley and his wife Rachel, and their son Anthony; two nieces, Rebecca and Emily LaValley. Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Friday, February 9th, from 3 - 7 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack NH on Saturday, February 10th, at 9:00 AM with burial to follow in Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack.
