Donna C. (Diemer) Jordan, 56, of Cummington, died after her courageous battle with colon cancer on August 10, 2021, at home with her sons.
She was born on August 17, 1964, in Westfield, MA, to Henry Sr. and May Diemer. She was an alumnus of Gateway High School and received her associate's degree from Holyoke Community College. She was passionate about her work at Central Berkshire Regional School District as the librarian in her earlier years and then as a paraprofessional, a position which she held for 24 years. She also loved serving as Cummington's Town Booker and later the Town Clerk for over 20 years. She enjoyed all her hard work and dedication to helping the Cummington Fair be a success. She loved the freedom of taking long rides on her Harley with friends. She flourished in the great outdoors, camping, boating, gardening and life in general. Her greatest love was her three boys Joshua, Jacob, and Jared. She had a contagious smile, generous spirit and gave the most loving hugs.
Donna leaves her sons, Jacob Jordan of Cummington, MA; Jared Rindler-Jordan and husband Jeffrey Rindler-Jordan of Hollowville, NY; sister Louise Raymond and husband Michael Raymond of Westhampton, MA; brother Henry Diemer Jr. and wife Diane Diemer of Brattleboro, VT; sister-in-law Laurie Diemer of Huntington, MA; grandson, Murdock, of Cummington, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
Donna is preceded in death by her son Joshua Jordan; both her parents; and her brother Charles Diemer Sr.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 18th at 11AM in Our Lady of the Hills Church, 173 Main St., Haydenville, MA. (Please Meet Directly at Church) Burial will be private.
Donna's family will receive relatives and friends at the Gathering on Tuesday, August 17th from 3-6PM at the Ahearn Funeral Home, 783 Bridge Rd., Northampton. FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED
