Erlewein Mortuary
Donna Jean Hill, 80 of Columbus, went to join her Heavenly Father on November 17, 2024. She was born December 28, 1943, to Everett & Mildred June Grizzell. She married her lifetime love of her life, Reginald "Reggie" Hill on April 3, 1964, who precedes her in death.
Jean worked many years beside her husband building their ad paper business The Trader. Jean enjoyed working her crosswords and puzzles and going out for shopping trips with her girls. She was a faithful servant to Jesus and a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. Jean's main enjoyment in life was always spending time with family.
She is survived by her brother, Wilbur; daughter, Regina (David) Vittorio and three grandchildren Michael (Ashley) Vittorio, Sarah (Collin) Ruf, Hannah (Braden) Trimpe. She counted among her many blessings her 4 great grandchildren, Dean and Linley Vittorio, Colton and Elianna Ruf. She was known to them as GiGi.
Jean had 12 brothers; Kenneth, Carl, Robert, Ward, Roger, Ray, Dean, Harry, James, Everett Jr., Dick, who all precede her in death. She had two sisters Ester Mauser and Ida Andrews who also precede her in death.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery in Milton, IN.
