Donna Gorcoff passed in peace Wednesday, January 13th, 2021.
Born in Bitola, Macedonia, on January 11, 1931, Donna had just turned 90. Donna came to America in 1953, and settled in Akron, Ohio, where she spent 20 years as a seamstress for the downtown O'Neil's Department Store.
Preceded in death by her parents Jovan and Vasa, sisters Blaga and Mica, and brother Dragi, as well as her best friends and roommates Baba Vangelica and Baba Nada. Donna is survived by many nieces and nephews. Donna's closest family circle for the past 20 years, the Gutshall family of the Akron area, will forever remember Donna as the quietest, but most peaceful, gentle, and sweet loving "Baba" you could imagine.
The Gutshall family will receive relatives and friends, on Monday, January 18, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Chapel, 1990 South Main Street, Akron, where a funeral service will immediately follow.
