Donald Eugene "Donny" Voyles, age 64 passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in a local hospital.Donny was born October 27, 1957 in Cherokee County, Ga. Son of Emily Ann McEntire, and the late Donice Dale Voyles. He was member of Northwood Baptist Church, he was employed by Trend Mills and later Mohawk Industries. Donny was preceded in death by his father, Donice Dale Voyles, and step father, Bobby McEntire.Survivors include, his wife of 43 years Rhonda Fowler Voyles, son, D.J. Voyles, daughter, Amanda (Chris) Tolbert, grandchildren, Landen Tolbert, Bayley Tolbert, mother, Emily McEntire, brother, Mark (Linda) McEntire, sisters, Teresa (David) Thornton, Vanessa (Jeff) Nesbitt, Stacey (John) Adams, several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2022 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Thornton, and Rev. Cary Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, Eric Fowler, Darrell Legg, David Kuenz, Richie Fowler, Rodney Fowler, and Jeff Nesbitt.Honorary pallbearers include, Trae Krouse, Darren Fowler, and Brandon Fowler.Good Shepherd Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
