Donald Lee Spicer, 79, of Lufkin, was born November 14, 1944, in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Arthur May Spicer and Delma (Richardson) Spicer, and died Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Lufkin. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donald loved to travel, especially on his Harley Davidson Trike. He retired from Lufkin Industries after 30 years of service. He enjoyed helping with the toy drive for Buckner Family Hope Center. He also enjoyed working in his shop on cars and other toys. More than anything else though, he liked spending time with his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Audrey Spicer of Lufkin, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Donovon and Hollie Spicer; son, Steven Toothman; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Domingo Garcia; daughter Robyn Toothman; grandson, Dylan Castro; grandson, Dalton Spicer; grandson, Devin Spicer; grandson, Dylan Spicer; grandson, Zackary Toothman; granddaughter, Cierra King; granddaughter, Kaydence King; granddaughter Royal Spicer; granddaughter and husband, Lilliana and William Redus; grandson Domingo Garcia Jr.; grandson Abraham Garcia; granddaughter Celia Garcia; granddaughter, Kaeley Fletcher; great-granddaughter, Abigail Marian; great-grandson, Jaylon Anthony Wheatfall Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Rae Lynn Spicer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stacey Lee Spicer; brothers, Darrell Spicer, Dale Spicer; and sister Doris Hargis
