Mr. Donald Henson Speak, of Myersville, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Linda Gouker Speak, his wife of 30 years.
Born in Frederick, he was a son of the late Clarence F. and Lillian Trail Speak Sr.
Mr. Speak was employed by Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ, Frederick, for 18 years.
He was a member of Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ and a life member of Independent Hose Co., Frederick.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, Dale Anthony March and wife Rhonda of Frederick; four brothers, Clarence F. Speak Jr. and wife Kathleen of Florida, Delmar L. Speak and wife Barbra, and Thomas T. Speak and wife Shirley, all of Frederick, and Robert L. Speak of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Gloria L. McGlaun of Georgia, and Patricia A. Huntzberry and husband Ronald of Frederick; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Speak was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne E. Speak.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Trinity Chapel of Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ, West Church Street. Mr. Speak's pastor, the Rev. Frederick A. Wenner, will officiate.
Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery, Myersville.
