Don W. Ray of Marble Falls, Texas passed into his Heavenly Father's arms on the morning of
April 25, 2023.
He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was beloved and appreciated by all who knew him. His love never faltered for others. He was also an avid outdoors man, he loved hunting, fishing, golfing and watching his World Champion Houston Astros!
Don was born and raised in Texarkana, Texas on January 21, 1943.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred S. and Hazel Ray and his beloved in laws Jack and Cleo Shields.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Lynn Ray of Marble Falls, Texas, daughters Nicole Ray Alvarez and husband Manuel of Cypress, Texas, Lesli Ray Brooks and husband Mike of Austin, Texas. He is survived by his brother Doug Ray of Texarkana, Texas, and niece Angela Ray. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Austin, Sarah, Presley and Caleb who he absolutely adored.
Don left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be dearly missed for his kindness, quick smile and helping hand to anyone that needed it. He was a great protector of his wife and adoring daughters, that he could never say no to.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Marble Falls.
