Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home Inc
Donald R. Leyh, age 94, of Greencastle, PA, and formerly of Jeannette, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Born on April 22, 1928, in Jeannette, PA, he was the son of the late Robert S. and Alma (Leonard) Leyh.
A veteran, Mr. Leyh served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, serving with Company C, 2nd tank battalion.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; two children, Tom (wife Joanne) and Amy (husband Bill; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a step grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ken.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 1 PM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA 17225, where Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
