Donald Robert Fritz, formerly of Park Forest late of Mokena, IL, 50, passed away on June 3, after a short battle with cancer. Don is survived by his loving wife, Amie nee Tuzik, adoring children Elizabeth and Zachary, dear mother Lois nee Haley (the late Robert), fond sister Claudia (Alisha Campbell), nieces Olivia and Winnie Fritz, brother-in-law, Dan (Sharon) Tuzik, nieces, Grace and Natalie Tuzik and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. He's preceded in death by his in-laws, Greg (Deirdre) Tuzik. Don was a 1989 graduate of Rich East High School, graduated Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He was a true believer in the cremation movement and an integral part of Cremation Society of Illinois since its inception. He spent his entire career as Operations Manager and served is current Vice President with the Cremation Association of North America. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Ravisloe Country Cub, 18231 Park Ave, Homewood, IL 60430. Service will begin at 1:30pm followed by gathering until 5pm.
