Donald L. Damrow

Don Damrow, age 70, of Avon, IN, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023. Don was born October 10, 1952, in Sheboygan, WI to the late Glenn Damrow and Vernetta (Schuh) Damrow.

Don was an auto racing enthusiast. In his early life, he and his brothers competed in regional stock car races and later he enjoyed watching all types of racing. Don became a licensed electrician and through his career held positions progressing from gas station attendant to maintenance manager at companies including Thiel's Deep Rock, K.W. Muth Co., Woodstock Co., Pace Dairy Foods Co., and Borden, Inc. Grocery and Specialty Products. He was an avid woodworker, skilled in crafts and home DIY projects, and continued to enjoy working on cars his entire life.

Don is survived by his wife Janice (Liddle) Damrow, siblings Michael (Cynthia) Damrow, Jeffery (Dawn) Damrow, Dale (Sharon) Damrow, all of Sheboygan, WI, and Karen (Gary) Kummerow of Elkhart Lake. His family also includes Children Chrissy (Mike) Serge of DeKalb, IL, Robert (Bobbi) Damrow of Elizabethtown, KY, David (Stephanie) Damrow of Frankfort, IN, Brianna Damrow (fianc? Alexandra) of Remington, IN, Nichole Winkle, Jennifer Buitendorp, and Dorcas Lawson of Indianapolis, IN, Grandchildren William (Amber) Frank, Tom (Cindy) Frank, Sarrah Peary, Chase Damrow, Cody (Angie) Damrow, Sydney Damrow, Alex Puente, Ciara Loefler, Angelina Michael, and Great-Grandchildren, Moe Frank and Cameron Damrow.
