His Legacy Donald Alan Cach, 60, passed away May 31, 2022. He was born on August 21, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan to Stanley Cach and Catherine “Anne” (Czornenki) Cach. Don married the love of his life, Lynn Hija, on September 20, 1986, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Don was friendly, outgoing and an engaging and animated storyteller. He could talk to you about any subject and had a great memory. He loved racing, muscle cars, boating, fishing, and snowmobiling. Don enjoyed going to the car wash; his cars, trucks and boats were always spotless. You could often find Don at Milan Dragway watching his son and daughter-in-law race. Don also enjoyed racing his Can-Am and telling old racing stories. He was a gun collector and spent time target shooting. Don was very proud of his children and liked to brag about them. He spent a lot of time at his cottage at the sand dunes with his family. Don was a treasure to all who knew and loved him and will be dearly missed.
His Family Don will be missed by his wife, Lynn Cach; his children, Nicholas (Nicole) Cach, Taylor Cach; siblings, David Cach, Robert Cach, Ronald Cach; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Catherine “Anne” Cach.
His Farewell Don’s family and friends will gather Monday, June 6, 2022, from 11:00AM-1:30PM, (time of sharing at 1:30), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, Michigan. A graveside committal will follow at Pinckney Cemetery (weather permitting, muscle/sports cars are encouraged). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Arbor Hospice.
