Don grew up in Lowell and graduated Lowell High School Class of 1957.
A dedicated salesman for Chevrolet (50 plus yrs.) his loyalty never wavered commencing at the Chelmsford automobile dealerships known as Boyd, Monroe, Hallissy, and Walter Sullivan's Colonial Chevrolet and spending the last 38 yrs. at Colonial Chevrolet of Acton up until his passing. He received numerous accolades being recognized for salesman of the year, including Legion of Leaders as the number one salesperson in the Boston zone. You knew it was a good day as Don was known for pulling "Hat Tricks" which were many!!!
Don loved his family! His grandchildren meant the world to him and attending their events, family cookouts, holidays and sharing traditional New England food gave him great pleasure. In his free time he loved watching classic movies and sports, especially watching Boston Teams. A good card game, Kimball's Ice Cream, reading mysteries, gardening, fishing for trout on the Squannacook, trips to Kennebunk, Me. and detailing cars to perfection was a day well spent.
The family would like to thank Don's "second family" known as Colonial Chevrolet of Acton and especially Larry Gordon for the years of friendship, kindness and compassion over the years.
