Dolores L Shell

Dolores L. (Brenizer) Shell, 91, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the Stonebridge Health and Rehab Center in Duncannon. She was born December 13, 1933, in Mechanicsbug to the late William Clyde and Rhoda (Hess) Brenizer

Dolores was a Carlisle High School graduate class of 1952. She retired in 1988 from the Mellon Bank with over 30 years of service. Dolores enjoyed playing word games, planting flowers in her garden, and reading books. She was a life member of the First United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg.

Surviving is her loving husband of 71 years, John R. Shell; children, John M. Shell (Elaine) of Boiling Springs; and numerous nephews. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her sister, Freda Fetterman; and numerous nieces.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to her church, First United Methodist Church, 135 W Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
