Mrs. Dolores Bradshaw Osteen, age 83, of Silver Creek, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in an assisted living residence in Cartersville.
Mrs. Osteen was born in Floyd County, GA on August 6, 1938, daughter of the late Hamilton N. Bradshaw and the late Frances Baker Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Osteen on March 5, 2016. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Bell South following 36 years of employment. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers/Bell South Retirees and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include 2 sons, Larry Kyle Osteen (Nancy), Kingston, and Corey Stephen Osteen (Stephanie), Panama City Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Jordan Kyle Osteen and Bryson Makae Osteen; two step grandchildren, John Anthony (Colleen) and Tammy Argroves (Glenn); step-great grandchildren; a sister, Tia Nikolopoulos; a brother, Steve Nichols; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 11:30am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Dr. Rodger Whorton officiating. Interment services will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 10am at Georgia National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday from 10am until 11:15am.
Pallbearers will include: Kyle Osteen, Corey Osteen, Jordan Osteen, John Anthony, and Steve Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or to Wellstar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106.
