Dolly (Reynolds) Gaddy, 91, Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Bedford, died Jan. 23, 2020, in Charlotte.
She was born in Bedford, Feb. 14, 1928, the daughter of James and Minnie (Patton) Reynolds. She grew up on Patton Hill and went to Fayetteville school.
She worked at Bedford Medical Center and later became a hairdresser with her own shop from which she retired.
She had many interests and talents. She loved to go into the woods and was an avid mushroom hunter.
She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Brotherson; one granddaughter, Wendy Kiesling; one great-granddaughte, Leslie Kieslingr; one sister, Ruby Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews.
She was prededed in death by her parents; six sisters, Juanita Atteberry, Mildred Wood, Marie Boeck, Josephine Farris, Lina McPherson and Dorothy Philpot; five brothers, Morris, Noble, Milford, Thomas and James Reynolds; and one daughter, Georgia Bailey.
Cremation was chosen with a service at a later date in Indiana. Her ashes are to be buried at Patton Hill Cemetery
