CUYAHOGA FALLS - Dianne J. Allison, 84, passed away February 4, 2021. She was born in Wadsworth, OH to the late Glenn and Dorothy Hall and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 26 years. Dianne was a graduate of Wadsworth High School going on to earn a degree in communications from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH. She worked as Assistant Branch Manager of Motorist Insurance with most of her career in that field. Dianne was the first woman to be President of the Akron Claims Association.
She was Regent of Cuyahoga-Portage DAR for several years and a member of Colonial Dames of the 17th century, Daughters of the War of 1812, Daughters of the Court of Honor and Daughters of the American Colonist and many other heritage organizations. Dianne was a faithful member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She had a great interest in art, theatre, history and genealogy. Her and her husband enjoyed many trips exploring these passions especially in the United Kingdom.
Dianne and her husband loved animals and were avid boaters locally and on Lake Erie. In retirement they were vendors at civil war shows for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, David; children,Christine Fiocca, Kimberly (Chris) Hartlaub, and Jon (Natalie) Gardner; grandchildren, Alesia, Natalie and Johnny Fiocca, Katie Allison and Sydney Goodyear; brother, Jon (Diana) Hall and her cat, Wallace.
