Dianne Clemm Caldwell, aged 87, entered heaven on February 7, 2023 from Dallas Texas. The daughter of textile mill workers Johnny and Leila Will Clemm, she was a native of Fairfax (Valley), Alabama. She attended Howard College (now Samford University) in Birmingham, Alabama, where she met her husband William (Bill) Gerald Caldwell. They were married in 1954. They then moved to Texas where Dianne finished her degree at Texas Christian University and they started their lives in ministry in Texas, Missouri, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and then back in Texas. She has been a resident of the Dallas/Ft Worth area for the last 47 years and has been active in Ft Worth at University Baptist Church, Agape Baptist Church, and most recently Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas. Dianne taught Home Economics at the Junior High and High School level, and later earned her Masters Degree and taught Elementary School. She loved traveling, square dancing and time with family. She was pre-deceased in 2009 by her husband of 54 years and is survived by her son William Gerald Caldwell Jr (Vicki), and daughter Janis Caldwell Apgar (Glen). She has four grandkids: Megan, Bryan, Kelley, and Will; and six great-grandkids. She will be missed by many. A service will be held Friday, February 24 at 1:00 pm in Ellis Parlor of Park Cities Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Park Cities Baptist Church.
