Mrs. Diane Deal Shepard 66, the daughter of the late Waldo Sr. and Fannie Wilson entered into eternal rest Friday, January 17, 2020 at Serenity Place in Dublin, Georgia. Mrs. Shepard was a native of Burke County and a longtime resident of Dublin. She retired from Farmers Furniture in Dublin after 20 plus years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Deal, her sisters, Cornelia Edwards and Peggy Leiby; her brothers, Leonard Wilson and Rusty Wilson.
Surviving are, her sister, Shirley Bell and husband Robert of Sardis, her brothers, Waldo Wilson, Jr. of Waynesboro and Randy Wilson and wife Sheryl of Martinez; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 at the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Matt Shryrock officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Service.
Active Pallbearers will be Randall Leiby, Len Wilson, Kevin Hartley, Curtis Sheffield, Chris Sumner and Josh Wilson.
Remembrances may be made to the American Society.
