Diane Guillot McCarthy passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Kenner, LA. Diane was a 1953 Graduate of Annunciation High School and a former longtime employee of A/C Supply. She was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and an original season ticket holder. Diane was also an original parishioner and choir member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and former member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Chateau Estates Lion's Club. Affectionately known as "The Queen", she loved large family gatherings, especially holidays and her Sunday family dinners. Diane had a passion for crafting, crochet, ceramics and cooking. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Cyril F. McCarthy, III. Loving mother of Colleen McCarthy, Tim McCarthy (Lisa), Erin McCarthy (Bayardo), and the late Michael McCarthy (Denise), Brian McCarthy, Sr. (Pam), and Shawn McCarthy. Daughter of the late Ethel Poncet Guillot and Earl L. Guillot, Sr. Sister of Cynthia Duvieilh, Earl Guillot, Jr. and the late Eleanor Graphia, Joan Guillot, and Valcien Guillot. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Michelle Brogan for her loving care over the last seven years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 2402 33rd St., Kenner, LA on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Visitation will be held in church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. Arrangements by L.A.
