Diane Marie Fowler (Coons), 56 passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 3, 2020. Born in Great Barrington, Mass she was a twenty-year resident of sunny and warm Florida. She was a tender hearted friend to everyone. A 1982 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School, she embarked on a successful clerical career that was cut short in 2000 by various debilitating illnesses resulting in permanent disability. A resident of The Villages in Florida, she met her husband in her hometown and after a whirlwind office romance, spent the next 35 years by his side in Connecticut and Florida.
Diane enjoyed The Villages, volunteering at the Mark Twain Library, joining various card making, beading and rubbing stamping craft groups, and frequently visiting the town squares for shopping, movies and dining. She was a devoted and loving fur mommy to cats both past and present. She also loved to travel when able, including two trips to England, cruising, Disney and shelling on Sanibel Island, Florida; the latter her final trip in August.
She leaves her loving husband Brian Fowler, her father Charles Coons and his wife Sheila [who passed Dec 14th, 2020], her sister Theresa Barbieri and her husband Brian. She was predeceased by her mother Nancy Coons (June 1998).
