Dee passed away on Friday, September 8,2023. Dee accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 13 and was baptized in the Red River. "Shall We Gather at The River" was sung that Sunday afternoon. She married Bob, her high school sweetheart, in 1955 and they came to Dallas to start their life together. Dee was known as MeMe to her grandchildren Shane Mullens (deceased) and Shealee Mullens Greer and husband Tony and her great grandchildren Ryder and Casen Greer. Nothing made her happier than being with her family. Celebrating birthdays and holidays was so very special to her. She loved traveling with Bob. Dee served as first lady of Farmers Branch for 15 years while Bob was Mayor. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Training Union Leader, Vacation Bible School Director & Teacher. Dee has requested that this is to be a celebration of her life, not a sad event. She loved her Lord and the Church. She was a great prayer warrior and believed that prayer was the mightiest force in the world.
