Mr. Dewey Isaac, 76, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his home in McConnells, SC.
Mr. Isaac was born in Salyersville, Kentucky and was the son of the late Everett Isaac and the late Sylvia Manns Isaac. In addition to his parents, Mr. Isaac was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Pifher Isaac six months ago, his step-mother, Wanda Isaac, his sisters, Loretta Gowitzky, Jeannette Zorich, Shirley Mathias, and Linda Featheringill; his brother, Nelson Manns, and his favorite companion his dog, Tika.
Mr. Isaac retired from MTD Products, then he and Barb moved to South Carolina to be closer to their family, Rhonda, Morgan and Sydney. He and Barbara loved to travel and sell Dewey's Woodcrafts. Dewey was an accomplished bowler and a long-time member of Dynasty Bowling Lanes in Willard, Ohio. He bowled five perfect 300 games and still averaged over 220 pins per game when he was sixty years old. Dewey was also an accomplished softball player in the Ohio area and was known as "Dew Carew" for his powerful bat and glove work at first base. Dewey continued enjoying golf throughout his retirement with Al and several other golfing friends.
Mr. Isaac is survived by step-daughter and care taker, Rhonda (David) Werner-Pendergast of Fort Mill and his two beloved granddaughters, Morgan Werner and Sydney Werner whom he cherished; his special nephew, Jeffrey Picklesimer of FL; his two sisters, Henrietta "Henny" Reed of Willard, OH, and Jan Maier of FL; his three brothers, James (Barbara) Isaac, Don (Delilah) Isaac, and Gary (Tina) Isaac, all of Willard, OH; his three daughters, Robin Isaac Rhodes, Charlene Isaac Dyer, and Shelly Isaac; a son, Brian Isaac and several grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
