Dennis A. Wise, 78, North Liberty, died 2:22 p.m. January 1, 2023 at the Center for Hospice, Raclin House. He was born January 27, 1944, in Goshen, to Lemuel & Pearl (Weaver) Wise. On June 14, 1969, he married Lynne (Strycker) Wise.
Surviving are his wife, Lynne, North Liberty, daughters, Patti (Paul) Bailey, Wakarusa, Denise Auer, Warsaw, 6 grandchildren, Alley ,Nathan, Ben, Maddie, Matthew, Andrew and one great-grandchild, TJ.
Preceding him in death are his parents and an infant sister, Patty Wise.
Dennis served in the Viet Nam War in the Army from 1966-1969. He retired from Bendix in the Aerospace Division. Dennis was a member of the Baptist Church, Nappanee, and a lifetime member of the VFW, North Liberty.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Olive (West) Cemetery, 1 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023. Memorial donations may be directed to the VFW, North Liberty, 66992 Tamarack Road, North Liberty, IN 46554
