Dennis Pat Dusek, 76, entered the Lord's heavenly kingdom on July 1, 2022 surrounded by his wife and sons in Rockport, Texas.
Dennis was born in Harlingen, Texas. Upon graduation from Harlingen High School in 1965, he joined the US Navy where he served aboard the USS Austin. Dennis then embarked on a career in the telecommunications industry, where he started with Southwestern Bell.He worked across the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio areas before moving to Mexico City. He retired from AT&T in 2001 after 32 years of service.
Dennis was an avid golfer, celebrating his first hole in one while playing at the Chiluca course in Mexico City. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons and close friends. Dennis, like most of us, had a love/hate relationship for his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys and was a lifetime Houston Astros fan!
Dennis leaves behind his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his wife of 53 years, Marlena Danie'le Dusek; his children Joe Dusek, John (Jeri Lynn) Dusek, grandchildren Austin Dusek, Tyler Dusek, Shelby (Kenneth) Marina, great granddaughter Raelynn Lorraine Marina, sister Jana(Byron) Foreman, niece Jay (Al) Perez and nephew Tony DeLawyer.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father Alvin Dusek and mother Betty Jo Dusek.
A celebration of Dennis's life will be held in the Aransas Pass area, in respect to his final wishes, where he lived on the coast with his loving wife and near his children.
