Denise Glover

Denise Glover affectionately known as “Nessie” was born April 5, 1966, in residence in Manhattan, New York. She was the beloved daughter of Timothy Glover and the late Willie Mae Glover. She departed this earthy life on Monday, July 4, 2022, in Columbia, South Carolina.

Denise was educated in the public schools of New York. She obtained her Associate Degree from Midlands Technical College and her Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Wesley University. She began her work career as an Accountant at Owen Steel and later joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina where she worked for the past 19 years.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Denise had a passion for traveling, movies, sports, riding motorcycles, and assisting others.

Denise had a bright and loving personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed her help. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. Though she is no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew her.

Ms. Glover was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alise Fryar, and sister, Patricia Anne Kemp.

Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Denise are her loving and devoted son, Daniel (Bria) Glover; her precious grandchildren, Jackson Glover and Mason Glover; her dad, Timothy Glover; her father, Lewis Fletcher; her sisters, Sandra Powell and Regina Glover, several caring uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives from the Glover, Fletcher, and Fryar Families, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure.
