Obituary
DeNeal “Dozzy” Coburn, 78, of Butler, IN, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023. She was born to the late Albert and Audrey (Johnson) Brown in Auburn, IN. Dozzy retired from Universal Tool and Stamping after 22 years. After retirement she worked at McDonald’s in Butler for more than 10 years. She formerly served on the Butler City Council. Dozzy was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
Dozzy is survived by her son, Ronald (Chris) Baker Jr.; brother, Rick Brown of Hamilton, IN; sisters, Kay Lemmon of Michigan and Bonnie Harbaugh of Fremont, IN; two grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several step-sons, step-daughters and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Butch” Coburn; brothers, Lynn Brown and William Brown; sisters, Julia Wynkoop, Sue Kreing, DeNese Landis, Joy Kirkpatrick and Ella Jo Clifton; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Butler from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, June 30, 2023. A graveside service will follow visitation immediately at Butler Cemetery. Pastor Paul Patton of the Butler Nazarene Church to officiate.
