Deloris Ann (Keefer) Zimmerman, 90, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 in Chambersburg.
Born October 27, 1932 in Washington County, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Bruce and Leona Miller Keefer.
Deloris worked for London Fog in Hancock and retired from working in the cafeteria for the Tuscarora School District. She took pride in cleaning and loved being a farmer's wife and helping her husband.
Deloris was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church of the Little Cove, Mercersburg, PA.
Deloris is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. (Ralph) Schriever of Warfordsburg, PA and grandchildren, John (Ashley) Schriever, Tracy (Seth) Deneen, and great-grandchildren Kaiden Schriever, Brynley Schriever, Julian Deneen, and Adrian Deneen. She is survived by two sisters, Janesta Clingerman, and Actress Goller.
Deloris was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Zimmerman (2012), and son John H. Zimmerman Jr. siblings, Floyd J. Keefer, Regina Garvey, and Kay Douglas.
A funeral will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, at Fries Funeral Home Inc. Mercersburg, PA with Elder John Schriever officiating. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the service and burial will take place at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
