Dee was born on December 6, 1932, daughter of the late S. Albert and Emily Blackiston Bryden of Rock Hall, MD where she graduated from High School. She received her RN from Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, and worked at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Md for over 50 years, retiring in 2011. She dearly loved giving silly gag gifts, earning quizzical looks from her many recipients.
