Dolores (Dee) M. Lambert age 80, passed away from complications to COVID-19 as well as Alzheimer's and Dementia at Hanover Terrace in Hanover, New Hampshire where she has resided for several years.
Dolores was born on June 8th, 1940 in Dalton MA to Eva and Edward Lyman. She worked various small jobs throughout her life, but her primary was the care of her children and home. She also cared for foster children for several years in Maine and Virginia. She lived in Oxford, ME for over 25 years before moving to Chesapeake, VA. Shortly after her husband Edward (Ed) of 39 years, passed away in 2006, she moved to West Topsham VT with her son Eddie and his wife Theresa. Theresa provided care for her for 4 years before she moved to Hanover Terrace for more advanced care.
She is survived by a son Eddie and his wife Theresa of West Topsham, VT, a daughter Phyllis Petroski and her husband Richie, and a son Paul of Norfolk VA. She has 4 grandchildren Scott, Joshua, Crystal, and Ashley, and 8 great-grandchildren Carley, Makayla, Hailey, Madisyn, Isaac, Isabelle, Declan, and Ripley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hale Funeral Home in Bradford. Due to COVID-19 there will be no services at this time. Burial will take place at a later date in the Albert G. Horton Veteran's Cemetery in Suffolk VA next to her beloved Edward.
