Delores Ann Holt

Delores Ann Holt, age 84, passed away peacefully Saturday February 22, 2025, at her home in Murrells Inlet.

Born in Corning, NY, Delores was the daughter of the late Melvin Paul Smith and Nellie Matilda (Jenks) Smith.

A member of Belin Memorial United Methodist Church, Delores loved making and decorating cakes, especially wedding cakes. She worked as a secretary for International Paper retiring after 15 years. Delores was a volunteer missionary, who loved growing flowers in her garden and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Delores is preceded in death by her children, Donald P. Holt and Kimberly Ann Palmer and her brothers, Melvin Paul Smith, Jr. and Donald K. Smith.

Survivors include her loving husband, William Holt of Murrells Inlet, SC; brother, John L. Smith and his wife Carol of Sebastian, FL; sister, Hattie Robinson of Murrells Inlet, SC; grandchildren, Jason, Tracy, Kelli and Kevin; great grandchild, Zoe; 1 great greatgrandchild; niece, Jody Thorne of Murrells Inlet, several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held.
