Deirdre Patricia "Pat" Boyter of McLeod, TX, who resided in New Albany, OH; passed away on July 25, 2022 and is now with her Lord and Savior.
Pat was born in Cranfield, England on October 13, 1937 to Thomas Swift and Kathleen Connolly Swift, of Belturbet, Ireland. Her education was from Priory Street Roman Catholic School. Pat and her husband traveled the world. For 35 years she resided in McLeod, Texas and was a devoted wife and mother. Pat enjoyed music, dancing, being around people (she never met a stranger) and spending time with the grandchildren. She had a strong devotion to family and friends and was a devout Catholic. For twenty years, she sold Avon in Atlanta, McLeod, and throughout Cass County.
Mrs. Boyter is preceded in death by both her biological parents, parents, Bridie and Ginger McMullan; sisters, Philamena Rose and Kathleen Marlow; and granddaughter, Ashlea Brooke Boyter.
Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Buron Glen Boyter formerly of McLeod Texas who now resides in New Albany, OH; her sister, Angela McMullan of Bedford, England; sons, Gary G. Boyter of Richland Hills, TX, Paul B. Boyter and wife Donna of Atlanta, TX; daughter, Donna B. Akins and husband Nicholas K. Akins of New Albany, OH. She is also survived by grandchildren, Matthew and Christopher Akins, Luke, Patrick and Michelle Boyter; and three great grandsons, Noah Harville, Thompson and Warren Akins. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at McLeod Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, in McLeod, Texas on July 30 at 11:00am and the Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
Burial will be at Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Ida, Louisiana.
