Deidra Ruth Ferguson, born June 10, 1941 in Bangor, Maine, entered into eternal rest on January 30th, 2024. Deidra met her future husband John Ferguson at Baptist Park Bible camp in Mapleton, Maine, and raised four children in Howland, Maine. They retired to Marco Island, Florida and spent summers on the coast of Maine. John and Deidra enjoyed more than 65 years of love, laughter, and adventure. Deidra is predeceased by her son John Ferguson III and is survived by her husband John Ferguson and children Thane Ferguson, Lynn Ferguson, Tracey Ferguson Pidgeon, daughter in law Diane Ferguson and 11 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held in Maine this summer. The family's deepest thanks to the caring and compassionate team at Avow Hospice of Naples.
