FAMILY SERVICES FUNERAL PARLOR
Deecye Bruce Bedell, age 94, passed away on January 12, 2024 in Kermit, TX. He was born on July 28, 1929 in Big Spring, TX to Clay and Estelle (Richardson) Bedell. Deecye married Judy Tylene Moore on February 5, 1965 in Big Spring, Tx and they shared 59 wonderful years together.
Deecye was known as "The Welder" to his friends and work colleagues. He enjoyed fishing, working on projects like his houseboat and especially enjoyed helping build churches. Deecye loved his wife dearly, loved being a father, and imparting life lessons to his kids. Deecye loved all of his family, especially his grandkids. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clay and Stella Bedell; sister: Fern Bedell; and 3 brothers: Clay, John Ed, and Hoppy Bedell.
Deecye is survived by his wife: Judy Bedell of Kermit, TX; son: Deecye Bedell and wife Misty of Millsap, TX; daughters: Stella Wilkinson and husband John of Monahans, TX and Linda Bedell of Lake Havasu City, TX; sisters: Nokie Roberts of Nevada, TX and Frankie Sowers and husband Monty of Graham, TX; grandchildren: Kaecye, Kadye, Laecye, Joseph, Kristia, Kari, Hailey, Brandon, and Matthew; great-grandchildren: Briana, Amber, Cheyenne, Colt, Kolton, Cameron, Emma, Grayson, Ivye, Roe, Remi, Tripp, Annah, Alexis, Daxton, Malachi Sol, and Grayson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.
