Debra M. Dedad of Erie, Pa passed away peacefully on May 29th, 2022 at WellSpan Hospital in York, PA after a lengthy illness.
She graduated from McDowell High School and Erie County Vo-Tech in 1978 and then worked for years in the food & beverage industry and school cafeterias in Erie and several other states while following her husband as a devoted Air Force spouse. She was hard working and always made a wonderful home for him and their daughter wherever she resided throughout those 20 years and beyond. Her unfailing dedication to family often went unnoticed at times, but could never be discounted in hindsight. Debra's selflessness and kindness along with her ability to suffer fools silently has surely earned her a place among the saints.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents James and Betty Lipinski and a sister Barbara Simos.
Debra is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John. Her beloved daughter Lindsey Montejo and her husband Aaron. Three precious granddaughters, Layla, Jessi, & Natalie. As well as sisters Janet Craig, Cindy Rabbitt, Marsha Trabold and a brother Gary Lipinski.
Additionally, she is survived by many caring nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
As per Debra's wishes, the funeral services will be held privately under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. of Spring Grove. A private burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Erie at a future date.
