Funeral service for Debra Lynn Daubenspeck will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in First Baptist West with Rev. Harold Gaches, Pastor officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Debra Lynn Daubenspeck, 61, of Lawton, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Oklahoma City. She was born on February 12, 1963, at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to Franklin L. and Patsy Ann (Hill) Wetmore. Raised in Lawton, she graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1981. On August 10, 1990, she married Terry Daubenspeck in a ceremony at Lake Lawtonka, north of Lawton.
Debra earned her bachelor's degree in education from Cameron University in 1985 and began her career as a teacher with Lawton Public Schools (LPS). Over 18 years, she taught first and second grades, while also pursuing a master's degree in school psychology with coursework at the University of Central Oklahoma and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. After completing her master's degree at SWOSU, she continued her work with LPS until health issues led her to retire in 2023.
At the time of her passing, she was a member of First Baptist West. Previously, she was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and participated in the church's Living Christmas Tree production.
She is survived by her husband, Terry, of the home; two children, Lacey Daubenspeck and Derek Daubenspeck; her mother, Patsy Ann Wetmore; four brothers, William D. Wetmore, Paul F. Wetmore and wife Linda, Donald D. Wetmore and wife Judy and Chris Cole; two nieces, Kristal Nichols and Stephanie Wetmore; two nephews, Tanner Wetmore and Brenden Wetmore; three sisters-in-law, Cherie Daubenspeck, Danita Beasley and husband Verne and Sarita Retherford; and an aunt, Carol Regier.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Wetmore.
