Ms. Deborah Seabrook, the seventh child of the late Mrs. Annie Marie Sheppard and the late Mr. William (Pete) Seabrook Sr., was born October 6, 1957 in New York, NY. She received her formal education in the public schools of New York and attended Louis D. Brandeis High School. On Saturday evening, Nov. 12, 2022 Ms. Deborah Seabrook completed her journey of life.
She leaves to mourn and honor joyful memories: One fiance, Joseph Jenkins (North Charleston, S.C.), 1 daughter, Nicole Seabrook (Las Vegas, NV.),4 sons; George Scott III (North Charleston, S.C.), Gregory Scott (& spouse Katrina) (Moncks Corner, S.C.), Joseph Jenkins Jr. (North Charleston, S.C.), and Jermaine Jenkins (North Charleston S.C.). She is also survived by 6 siblings; Mrs. Barbara Pettigrew (New York, N.Y.), Mr. Taharqa Piye Metuhotep (New York, N.Y.), Mrs. Rosemarie Seabrook (New York, N.Y.), Mr. William Moses Pettigrew (& spouse Denese) (Crossing, N.C.), Mrs. Althea Pettigrew (New York, N.Y.), and Mr, Kamal Pettigrew (New York N.Y.).She is survived by 6 grandchildren; William Jacobs, Aaliyah Selmi, Farrah Hiott, Christiana Hiott, Aleaya Hiott, and CJ Hiott. She is predeceased by 4 siblings; Mr. Robert (Bobby) Pettigrew, Mr. John Anthony Pettigrew, Ms. Eva Pettigrew, and Mrs. Felicia Wade. Ms. Seabrook is survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
The Home Going Service will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2022, 1:00 PM at The Lowcountry Mortuary. Interment is private. No visitation.
