Debbie Blackburn, age 67, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, Thursday, June 2 (2022). She was born June 22, 1954, in Lehighton, Pennsylvania to Bob and Billie Keister.Debbie was a dedicated grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every opportunity to support them and brag about them. Debbie loved to love on people and she never met a stranger. She was an avid Goblin fan, who was especially partial to the football and baseball teams, and we imagine she is still celebrating that state championship up in Heaven.Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Bob Keister and her brother, Bobby Keister. Debbie is survived by her mother, Billie Keister; a sister, Sandy Keister; her daughter and son-in-law, April and Jeremy Parker; her son, Dustin Blackburn and her biggest pride and joy, her grandchildren, Avery Parker, Beck Jones and Stella Parker.Celebrations of her life was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June, 6 and 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, with burial following at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Pastor Rob Davis will officiate.Pallbearers are Jeremy Parker, Dustin Blackburn, Beck Jones, Cylan Madden, Eric Knapp and Andy Chy. Honorary pallbearers are the 2022 Class 4A State Champion Goblin baseball team and her First Baptist Church Wednesday Meal Ministry Team.
