Deanna L. Walton

Deanna L. Walton, age 70, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, PA.

Deanna was born in Hanover, PA on June 29, 1954 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Martha (Parks) Walton. She graduated from Westminster High School Class of 1972 and worked for St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD for 27 years. Deanna later worked for WellSpan Health for over 17 years prior to her retirement. She was also known for authoring and writing Christian poetry and Christian short stories.

Deanna is survived by her sister Carol King; and her brother-in-law Jeff Lohmeyer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Ray Walton; her sister Ruth Lohmeyer; and her nephew Jeffrey Lohmeyer.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Deanna's life will be announced at a later date. Professional services are under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove.

Memorial contributions in Deanna's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
