Deanna J. Schultz, 83, of South Beloit, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in her home. Born January 15, 1941, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Gerhart and Beverly (Bartusek) Springer. Graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, Class of 1959. Married Robert D. Haase on July 4, 1960, in Beloit; he predeceased her. Married Joseph "Tom" Schultz on March 30, 1974, in Rockton, IL. Deanna and Tom owned Schultz's Butcher Shop, in Beloit, for 14 years and was formerly employed by Beloit Daily News and North American Tool. She loved spending time with her family for all the holidays. Deanna enjoyed trips to the casinos, bowling, cooking and was always up for a good time. Avid Green Bay Packers fan. She had a love for horses and rarely missed any of her daughter's, Kim's, band performances. Survivors include her daughters, Kim (Jeff) Dopp and Tracy (Tim) Conway; grandchildren, Ryan (Ellen) Hovland, Kayleigh (Stuart) Wallace, Collin (Amanda) Conway and Sydney (Mitchell Fitzsimmons) Dopp; great-grandchildren, Sullivan, Judson, Callan, and Emma; several nieces and nephews; her loving canine companion, Molly. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Tom; and sister, Beverly. The family wishes to thank Ken for all his love and care.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Daley, Murphy, Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.
