He left this world and entered the next as God had planned. He was born in Piedmont, Oklahoma being the fourth child of Frank J. and Myrtle L (Couch) Luschen. He attended Piedmont Public Schools and Hills Business University in Oklahoma City. He served two years in the Army Artillery in Korea '53-54. He met his wonderful wife Gesina Joan Clarkson RN at Mercy Hospital and they were married on May 31, 1958 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Shawnee. He worked for Sinclair Crude Oil Co., Cities Services Gas Co., and Northwest Central Pipeline Co. in Oklahoma City and Williams Co. in Tulsa from which he retired. He was ordained a permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church on February 15th, 1985 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in OKC and for the parish of Christ the King in Tulsa. He was blessed with four wonderful children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gesina Joan, two sisters, Margaret L Luschen and Laveta Redding, and two brothers, Delbert L and Lonnie Luschen. He is survived by his sister Loreta Brown, and his children, James (Sherri), Fr. Timothy Luschen of Oklahoma City, Laura Gesina Luschen, John C. (Donna) Luschen of Tulsa, OK, and his grandchildren , Benjamin, Emily, Luke (Lilli), Christopher (Daniella) Luschen of Oklahoma City and Nick Luschen of Tulsa, OK, and one precious great granddaughter, Anna. The Rosary will be on Sunday, March 2 at 7pm and the funeral mass at 10am on Monday, March 3, both at Christ the King Catholic Church in Tulsa.
